Bumping into God
This morning, early this morning, cause Louisiana August and all, I was watering flowers and encouraging the little guys in their struggle. If you can make it “this far” and still be alive, and even growing, you got this.
One thing led to another and I began washing down the front porch.
As I sprayed, I was praying for this that and the other. (If you’ve asked me to pray for you, you may have been the other )
Right about then, I bumped into the brick wall behind me, jumped, and said aloud, “Mercy, Lord. I thought that was you for a second.”
The memory has stayed with me as I’ve gone about the day and it moves me to pray that you, dear one, would bump into the Lord at every turn.
Peace out.
Hugs,
Shellie
