Duck Dynasty’s Kori Robertson to Visit ATS LIVE Monday the 23rd
Attention Duck Dynasty fans! Don’t miss ATS LIVE this coming Monday, July 23rd. Kori Robertson will be joining me in the studio of TALK540 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM CST. The show airs locally and streams live here. (For any new listeners planning to tune in, the top of the hour is a news break. The show actually kicks off at 5:06.)
Fans of the hugely popular Duck Dynasty that premiered on A&E this year will recognize Kori as the wife of Willie Robertson, also known as Boss Hog, CEO and resident prankster of Duck Commander.
What many of my readers may not know is that Duck Dynasty is the pride of my stomping grounds here in northeast Louisiana. Those of us who are personally acquainted with this family are happy to say that the stars of Duck Dynasty are exactly what they appear to be, a close-knit, fun-loving, Christian family whose values haven’t changed with their fortunes.
And though I am as big a fan of the show as anyone, this is why I’m particularly delighted to celebrate their success! So, come on, join me on air this coming Monday, the 23rd and get to know Kori!
Now, here are a few things Kori and I are hoping you’ll do:
1. Help us get the news out about Kori’s visit by sharing this post. Twitter it, Facebook it, email it, pin it on Pinterest, call your friends and family and tell them how to listen in, and paint it on the water tower in your home town. (Okay, maybe not that last one, but you get the idea.) We’re going to have a big time and we want everyone to join us.
2. What do you want to ask Kori about Duck Dynasty– about Willie, about Kay, Jase, Missy, Uncle Si or any of your other favorites? Did you have a favorite episode? Leave your questions and answers here on the blog or on the Facebook and Twitter streams. If we ask your question or address your comment, you may win a special prize!
3. However– everyone will be eligible to have their name thrown in the drawing for some cool Duck Dynasty merchandise by leaving a message on my Facebook wall. See y’all on the air for Duck Dynasty this coming Monday, the 23rd from 5-6 PM, that’s CST, at All Things Southern LIVE!
Hugs, Shellie
UPDATE: Good news! Jessica Robertson will be joining Kori and I this Monday. Tune in to visit with the wives of Duck Dynasty!

Are Korie’s parents joining the show? I know they appeared as guests in the restaurant episode. I attended camp with them in 1968!

1968? That’s cool! No, they won’t be on the show today, but I’ll pass along your greetings.

Is Si married? Not that I’m on the market.

LOL– I think he is, but we’ll find out for sure this evening!

Question: We’ve seen the kids featured on several episodes. I know, kids being kids, there is an up side and a down side to the “fame” that Duck Dynasty has brought them. I realise that with both the shows ‘Duck Commander’ and ‘Buck Commander’, this hasn’t been any overnight jump into the national spotlight for some of the adults, but it has for the kids to a certain extent. How have they ‘coped’ with that spotlight, and especially with how they are treated now by there schoolmates and peers?
(Duck Commander and Buck Commander have been two of my favorite shows on the Outdoor Channel for several years now. I’m proud of the success that our North Louisiana neighbors, the Robertson’s, have experianced. It’s well deserved. The family and religious dynamic shown is most appreciated nowdays.)

Thx, Frank! Will enter you and get that question asked!
