I Brought You Home in my Heart
Dear friend I met at Perdido Bay,
We had such a short time to visit– but your warm and easy nature coupled with your openess about your very fresh grief planted you deep in my heart. We brought you home.
I’m upset with myself for not exchanging numbers, emails addresses, or anything that would help me stay in touch with you, so I’m hoping you’ll find this blog. I so want you to know that we have prayed for you since we left and we will continue to do so in the days ahead.
I’ve never dealt with anything close to what you’re experiencing, nothing like it at all, but I did walk that road with a very close friend and the pain of her grief, even being second hand, changed me forever. It’s why I brought you home.
I am praying specifically that you will be able to lay your heart in the hands of Jesus Christ, the healer. I’m praying you will give Him all of the pieces, both in the good days when you think you can make it out of the darkness by yourself, and in the bad days when you’re afraid you never will…I’m praying that one day your heart will leap again like the dolphins you see playing off the shore behind your home.
Take care my friend, and get in touch if you would like.
Hugs,
Shellie

Shellie,
Thanks so much for posting nice words on my blog! That totally made my day 🙂
My husband called me from work to tell me you stopped in there. . . .we live the simple life out here in Idaho 🙂
Have a great day!
