Marking Us Safe
Hey y’all! It took a few days, but the beloved farmer and I have officially marked ourselves safe from Pops and Keggie Kamp 2020.
That’s a joke, people. Kinda. In the interest of transparency, while Kamp was huge fun for all involved, it does require a herculean amount of energy. At least for the two more mature Kampers. The grands? Oh, please. Apart from that one time when the Z monster slipped up one Weston the Wonder Boy while we were boating, it was game on around the old homestead.
We skied, tubed, and kneeboarded.
We fished, caught minnows, and rode around the farm.
We ate, laughed, and ate some more.
We crafted, played tennis, and visited the great grandparents.
We had devotions and we said our prayers, and then we started over the next day..
Oh, and Kennedy Lee wasn’t old enough to attend KAMP but she did get an official shirt!
Hopefully, come Summer 2021, we’ll do it all again. Whew.
So, I had intended to tell y’all some stories along with this update but suddenly, I’m tired all over again. LOL! But seriously, I do have some current thoughts for y’all. I put them in the form of a Bible Study, Reckoning and Repentance. I hope you enjoy.
Until next time…
Hugs,
Shellie
P.S. I posted a video recap to Facebook, should be interested in viewing all the lovely chaos. You can find it here!
Hugs,
Shellie
