My Apologies to Shakespheare

Yikes! I opened the radio show yesterday in a most colorful and yet totally unintended way.  I had plans to say something cute about it being Talk Like Shakespeare Day. Towards that end, I opened my mouth to say, “Why fore shalt thou not join me on yon radio show?” INSTEAD, I heard myself begin with, “Why _______” (insert rather crude word that rhymes with cart and smart and has to do with being gasey!) My board man lost it and I did, too. Color me embarrassed, again. Here’s a link to the weekly podcast in the event you haven’t found it on the website. My bad. 🙂

Hugs,
Shellie

I love to hear from you. And to prove it– for the rest of April, anyone who leaves a comment box will get his or her name thrown in a pot. I’ll send out a signed copy of Sue Ellen’s Girl Ain’t Fat, She Just Weighs Heavy to a lucky winner on my birthday, April 30th! Kind of like a Happy Birthday gift in reverse!

I was listening on my drive home from work. I was laughing so hard, I thought I was going to have to pull over. I love your show. Thanks for the laughs…intentional or not!

    Hi Shellie! (again)
This post made me laugh right out loud! Shakespeare would have found the humor in it I’m sure!

To gas , or not to gas , that is the question
Whether ’tis nobler for the room to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous aroma,
Or to take arms against a sea of chilli dogs, and by opposing them with Pepcid,
To relax , to no longer break the celestial wind,
Nor suffer the heartache and the thousand unnnatural looks from those in our midst
