The Gospel Isn’t Grey
A loving warning. Beware the fuzzy, feel good God-speak that doesn’t center on Jesus, our Blessed Hope.
Jesus speaking, “If God were your Father, you would love Me.” (John 8:42)
Sweet sounding religious talk that doesn’t present Jesus as the Door is puff smoke and human mirrors. All the poetic words, flowery speech, and literary prowess in the world will never be able to save a soul.
To teach, write, or speak of finding peace “with yourself” and God without owning Jesus as the Way is to reject God’s revelation of Himself and forfeit our only hope of salvation.
John 5:23, “He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.”
Stay with me.
The immeasurably good news of the gospel is that Jesus ever lives to grant eternal life to all who will come to Him. Jesus said, “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.” John 6:37
And one more…“Everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die.” John 11:26
Jesus, the One and Only.
Believe Him.
Live in Him.
Hugs,
Shellie

Good word my precious friend. Oh, I truly hope I never have to find out whether or not bears run fast. If they can and do, guess I would be his next meal instead of my enjoying a “next” meal. Love you much and keep it up.

LOL! And I love and appreciate you and your ministry! We shall both keep on keeping on as long as the Good Lord keeps the bears away. 🙂
