The family of James Ed Rushing feels the enormous void left by their beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Yet they do not grieve as those who have no hope. Their greatest desire is that you, too, would come to know and love the God their Papa faithfully loved and served.

Funeral services for James Edvin "Ed" Rushing, age 87, of Transylvania, Louisiana, will be 2:00 PM, Monday, November 9, 2026, at Melbourne Baptist Church near Transylvania, Louisiana. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Melbourne Baptist Church.
