Statement of Faith

I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is without error and is the authority upon which I base my faith, my conduct, and my doctrine.

I believe in one God, Who exists eternally in three distinct persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

I believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life on this earth, shed His blood, and died on the cross by crucifixion to redeem mankind from his sin-debt.

I believe Jesus rose from the dead, ascended to the Father in Heaven, sat down at His right hand to intercede on our behalf, and He is coming again.

I believe the only hope of salvation is through repentance from sin, and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. I believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross not only provides healing of our spirit but can provide healing for our physical bodies through prayer.

I believe the “baptism of the Holy Spirit”, according to Acts 2:4, is given to all who ask.

I believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling enables believers to live a life that is pleasing to the Father.

I believe water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus and a testimony of our faith in Him.

I believe in the regular taking of communion as an act of remembering what Jesus did for us on the cross.

I believe every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by obedience to the Word of God, yielding to the Holy Spirit, and being conformed to the image of Christ.
