Finding Deep and Wide Advent – Dec. 16th
Sweet believer, you who came once for salvation. You say you don’t know how to come to Jesus for day-to-day life? It’s easier than your enemy would have you believe. Acknowledge His reign, submit your will, and then use your words to bring Him anything and everything, anytime and all the time.
Every day, all day, we’re given opportunities to cling to our right to ourselves or concede everything we are in voluntary offerings to everything He is. It’s our privilege to bring God our eyes, ears, words, desires, thoughts, actions, goals, priorities, and intentions, and these choices build our lives into His dwelling place where He will meet with us, where He will speak to us. Granted, that’s not an exhaustive list. It’s an idea of the materials within reach of us all that can hinder our walk with God or build Him a home in our nine-to-fives. ~excerpted from Finding Deep and Wide, releasing January 2020
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me (Revelation 3:20).
