I’ve officially wrapped the podcast and tv inter I’ve officially wrapped the podcast and tv interviews for Don’t Try to Pray Like Her.

I went into all of them with my home studio properly lit and all the techy gadgets tested and synced. They worked fantastic together until they didn’t.

It’s a mystery to me how everyone else does this so well, so regularly. I’d test everything way before an interview, but when the clock neared go time — drama! I’d leave the studio after one interview with all the components playing nice and inevitably they’d have a falling out before the next one. You want an example? Ok.

Different stations and podcasters use different platforms, (think Zoom or Riverside). More than once the expensive camera and/or mic would quit talking. This meant last minute switches from the wireless mic to the laptop audio or vice versa — and going back and forth from the laptop camera to the prissy camera.

If you caught clips with the interviewer looking directly into the camera and yours truly looking down at the laptop screen like it was my job instead of making good eye contact, you now know why. My apologies podcast world. Thanks for letting me play anyway. I’ll try to do better. (Famous last words.)

I’ve also wrapped speaking season. There are a couple open dates on my mid-August to mid-November 2026 schedule and maybe a few in the January till late May 2027 round.

Feel free to start a conversation about my coming to open the Word at your event, unless my transparency scares you. Obviously, I don’t subscribe to the “never let ‘em see sweat” theory. This Jesus loving Bible teacher and author sweats plenty, but maybe someone out there trying to follow the call they hear despite habitually falling forward needs this witness. You’re welcome. 😘

The dinner bell interrupted our dance practice bef The dinner bell interrupted our dance practice before we could put the finishing touches on it (translation: before we came anywhere close to getting the steps down). But I still had to include it because Phillip is such a fun daddy!! Let’s hope he is still such a good sport after he finds out I posted this. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂♥️
