Hopelessness Isn’t Your Portion

May I have a word with you, Miss Fearful? Have you never known the peace found in the refuge of God’s Presence that you can’t access it again?
And you, dear Mr. Despondent, have you never known His cheer, that you should choose the company of your doldrums instead of turning your mind to His nearness?
What say you, Believer All is Lost? Are you suggesting God is indifferent? The scars in His Son’s side and in His hands forever bear a different witness.
Maybe your case is different. Maybe you don’t know how to carry your angst to the Secret Place because you’ve never been. If that’s you, waste no time, my friend. Find someone to lead you in the way. Trod the path of the Savior. Follow Him to the Cross. Look into His eyes and trust God’s promise that His sacrifice can save you from your sins and gain you entrance into His ever-lasting favor.
But, what then, you say? I will tell you. Your answer is found in clinging to Jesus’ Blessed Side. You won’t find hope, comfort, peace, guidance, and joy by tucking faith in your breast pocket and going about your way. To draw from Him, you must live with Him. He is not a past tense Savior. He is Ever-Present Comfort and Right Now Peace.
These are unstable times, but hopelessness isn’t meant to be your portion. I long for you to know the stability Jesus offers. Message me if I can help.
Hugs,
Shellie

Praying right now for Nancy Tantush for God to restore completely and forever heal these tunnels and that NO more cancer can touch het body in the Mighty Name of our Healet, Jesus Christ of Nazareth!!

Shellie, my son, John Michael, is scheduled for surgery Feb 16th to reverse this colon ostomy. Another 9″ incision and the original one hasn’t even healed yet…not sure if he will have chemo before surgery or if they will postpone that. Hospital stay at least a week. Please pray for a successful surgery my sweet friend….Much Love and many blessings to you and yours!!❤

So good! I wrote you over a year ago about mastectomy after second breast cancer. I’ve been positive over a year of being confined to bedroom (except for Dr. Visits and now beauty shop for washing hair). Radiated tissue caused havoc in one breast. Began Wound Care in May. Tried everything! Had 5 tunnels that would not heal. But last Dec. I became so tired of it, lost my patience. Now, we had a tissue transplant in the one tunnel left. It looks good so far! It has helped my hope return. I’ve always trusted the Lord but I got lazy and got impatient. I believe God will heal me in His time and I’m working hard not to get down again. Thank you for all you do to help us.
