I ran across a fascinating story about the late newspaper publisher, William Randolph Hearst.

Hello Jesus sister! How about this? I’m giving twenty-four hour party notice this time. 🤣⭐️♥️

You’re invited to a pop-up Jesus gathering at my house tomorrow night, Monday the 26th, 6:30-8:30. There will be food, fellowship, door prizes, and a devotion.

I ask only that you let me know if you’re coming so I can have a tentative head count. ♥️

About the food…last year many of you gracious people began insisting on helping me with the food for these gatherings. I’m welcoming that offer. I’ve put on a big old pulled pork for finger sandwiches. Bring any type of snack food, like chip and dips, sweets, party sandwiches, etc. Again, don’t let that preparation dissuade you, either. Store bought goodies are perfectly acceptable. I’ll also have drinks and paper goods!

That’s about it. YOU are so very welcome and I pray you’ll come!

Such a fun evening cheering the CHA Flame to a state championship! Weston is the youngest boy on the varsity so we knew there was a chance he might not get in the game, but Pops and I made the drive to Pineville just in case he did! And, of course, to support Emerson’s boyfriend, Nate, who saw all the action and slammed down some awesome kills. Congrats to all the guys! We love y’all!

What is happening with Suck Your Stomach In and Put Some Color On?! I just got word this 2008 title of mine sold 490 copies in just under two weeks! What? For comparison sake, the week before the surge it sold 3. Three. Tres. 🤔

Not trying to look a gift horse in the mouth here, but that’s absolutely wild for a book pushing twenty years old, and in my experience this is an abnormal fluctuation. Something happened, whether that was a large coordinated purchase, a viral recommendation, a retailer promotion— or a reporting mistake. Is that possible? Inquiring minds need to know what’s up! Talk to me, knowledgeable publishing industry friends. And for you Inspector Gadget types, get to work! Solve this mystery. Find the person responsible so I can invite ‘em to Christmas.
