News Among Friends
Hello friend, I’m excited to share some good news with you. My Hungry is a Mighty Fine Sauce storytelling cookbook is back on the market with a fresh new look. I’m looking forward to being able to share it with you. It’s full of the same down home good cooking, inspirational devotionals, and storytelling found in the first edition, showcased in an updated design. And this time, you can get it hardcover or paperback!
A book of any genre never finds its way into the hands of a reader without first passing through the hands of many talented people who leave their own marks on its pages. Hungry is a Mighty Fine Sauce was originally released by Barbour Publishing and I will always appreciate the time and expense their team invested in this project. I now owe a debt of gratitude to fellow author and brilliant design artist, Nicole Seitz, for capturing my vision for this fresh new version of my storytelling cookbook, and for the hours she invested in redesigning it and helping me bring it to market. Thank you, Nicole!
Although a few years have passed since we took the family pictures on the back cover, they ooze nostalgia for this mother and grandmother, and I simply couldn’t find it in my heart not to include them again. The compilation of these recipes was a labor of love, and it gave us a season to remember! Once again, my heartfelt thanks to my daughter, Jessica Maher, for the delicious dishes she contributed to this work, and to my daughter-in-law Carey Tomlinson, for the gorgeous photography. Finally, to you, my beloved readers who embraced Hungry is a Mighty Fine Sauce from the onset. Your prodding led to the first offering of this storytelling cookbook, and your prodding is the reason it is being rereleased now.
Would you consider helping me get the word out? You can greatly amplify my announcement by sharing this email with your friends and family. Or you could save these images and share them to your social media pages. Word of mouth is powerful. And on that note, if you have the Hungry is a Mighty Fine Sauce Cookbook, or you enjoy the recipes I share here on site, please give the cookbook a review on Amazon. Reviews don’t have to be lengthy. A couple sincere sentences can achieve the same results as a longer post. It’s the thought that counts definitely applies here! (And if you don’t feel like you can write a review, you can rate it with the star option!)
I love this community of readers and I appreciate your help! Thank you seems to fall short, but it is offered with the greatest sincerity.
Hugs, Shellie
