Developing News, a Thank You, and a Bit of Silliness
Hey friends! I've got developing news on my last book Finding Deep and Wide! I'll be able to share as soon as I get a confirmation on one small detail. Meanwhile, please enjoy this joyfulness (and a wee bit of silliness) as my family celebrated with me. I love these people! Let's break for the video and then I have a few closing thoughts below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kgv9_sTtkA8 Okay,
Noodles and Rice with Toasted Almonds – Yes, Please
Hey friends! I had family over for lunch after church this past Sunday and I pulled out a dish I haven't made in a while. I'd forgotten how much I liked it, so I'm sending it around for you to discover. (Okay, okay, so here's the rest of the story! I also wanted an excuse to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone for
Choosing our Way Forward
Hey friends, thinking aloud and thought I'd share
In Times Like These
Hello friends! Y'all are never far from my mind these days, and often in my prayers. In the words of an old commercial, it prompts me "to reach out and touch". Whoever is saying, "What next?" needs to stop! Can I get an amen? The turmoil in our country has continued to boil, and the division seems to be growing wider by the day. Last
Hopelessness Isn’t Your Portion
May I have a word with you, Miss Fearful? Have you never known the peace found in the refuge of God’s Presence that you can’t access it again? It wasn’t there. Shame on me for not having it on the website already. I looked high and low and I even called her daughters. No one had it.
An Easy How-to for Dried Orange Garlands
This was my first time to create Dried Orange Garlands to add to my Christmas decorations, but it won’t be my last. The smell is heavenly and I’m a longtime fan of bringing natural elements inside. This project was fun. I gathered my components, spent a little time, and voila! Lean in, and I’ll show you. Gather: 4-5 Oranges Burlap strips for bows Fishing wire or twine Greenery White lights *optional Cinnamon
#AlwaysAdventSRT
If ever we needed to celebrate the Light of the World coming into our darkness, it’s Christmas 2020! Right? What’s that? I’m having a hard time hearing you over the amen corner. I get it! I know people who decked their walls in October and double dog dared anyone to part their lips in judgement. But seriously, we may sense how sorely we need Christmas this
